I purchased a three pack of solar panels for my RING spotlight and stick up cameras. I also purchased the gutter mounts. Worked like a charm. My cameras are usually between 98% to 100% charged depending on the activity. I’m so happy I don’t have to replace the batteries.

Works great. Recognized by ring as soon as hooked up. Fully charged Stick Up Cam even on cloudy days. Couldn’t use a gutter. mount Because of the type of gutter I have Used sheet metal screws to attach to the.top of the gutter using the regular mount. and oriented it to the South. Couldn’t be better!

Worth the money

Decided to buy these panels as I had added two new cameras and was initally scared of the idea of changing the batteries of all the three cameras regularly. Once I purchased these panels and installed them, I have not had to charge my ring cams ever since. It has saved me so much trouble and time that I really think this was worth every dollar.

It was very easy to install but when you plug in the solar panel the ring device asked you if you want to go to wired the answer is no you do not. I changed our mind to wired and then they did not work! Then I had to go back and change them all back to battery-operated

Put My Ladder Away

Before installing solar panels for 2 Ring Spotlight Battery cams I was climbing the ladder and charging batteries often, even with 2 batteries In each cam. With the panels they stay topped-off everyday. The panels work great so far.

The solar panel seems well made and was easy to connect to my Ring Spotlight Cam. The only problem I have is that the plug that connects it to the camera does not have the flanges that hold the plug tight against the body of the camera as pictured on the site. I also assume that this helps make the solution further water resistant.

So far, so good! We put up the solar panels with our cameras about two weeks ago, and I can see in my ring app that they're doing their job of keeping the camera batteries charged (and one in a place that doesn't get that much sun each day). I would not put cameras up without the solar panels. I don't know yet if they "last", but glad to have them.

Fits outdoor ring cameras no problem. I have 5 out door ring cameras. Two with the ring solar panels. I just installed the three Wasserstein solar panels on the reaming three. No issues at all for the installation.
Only time will tell which solar panels will last over the years. If I remember I’ll update when the first one fails.
