Excellent laptop, but needs a re-designed trackpad

An amazing laptop, with two major flaws:
1. the trackpad is not aligned for typing. I instinctively want to put my hands centered around the trackpad -- which makes it not centered at the keyboard -- for typing.
2. What makes it even more prone to touching my palm is the large size of the trackpad.

Generally, an excellent laptop. I do miss the touch screen. The Glance feature was annoying and should not be turned on by default. The power pack plug is a little too loose in regular outlets.
