[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looked very good in the photos online but looked even better coming out of the box. My previous laptop was aging and I'm not much of a shopper but I'm glad I took the time to discover this notebook. I even like the keyboard! My Gram is now part of my modernized home network with enough RAM and storage that I don't have to count bytes and it's very fast. I'm still surprised at how light it is considering what's inside.

Incredible performance, battery life, and weight!

People look at my in awe when I hold a cup of coffee, and grabbing this computer between my pink and ring finger... all in one hand!!! While I munch on donuts with the other hand.
This laptop is incredibly powerful given its weight. It's like having a 5 year old dominating a 20 year old in a fight.
The battery is incredible. The performance is great. And did I mention how light it is?
LG you are doing a fantastic job. Just make sure the built quality is maintained, and this segment will sure take off.

My previous computer was taking 20 min to boot up so a replacement was needed. Consumer Reports said to check out the Gram. After some research, went with it and so thankful I did. Boot up now takes 45 seconds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this laptop for a couple of weeks now and I am very pleased with it. I don't do a ton of gaming but the gaming I have done on it has run perfectly. The colors are vibrant and and it handles multiple tasks very well. Audio is rich (make sure you use the Dolby software) It boots within fifteen seconds. Due to the laptop being slim and lightweight, it will get quite warm playing games or applying heavier demand but that is not unusual for a slim and lightweight product. I use a laptop cooling pad and all is well. As for its lightness it does not feel flimsy, very happy with that. I purchased an LG monitor to use with the laptop and both items are excellent. these are my first LG products.

Laptop Hinge problem

I bought this laptop 9 month ago. The laptop is light and had big screen. The problem is the hinge become loose on one side and totally came out one day. I can see there are two tiny screws inside and dropped in the computer. One screws outside is totally gone with the rubber cover. When I call the warranty, they saw the scratch of the side of the cover then decide not cover the hinge loose problem. What a huge disappointment. The laptop is dropped or anything misused. It was use as normally. This is not a military grade sturdy. The cover is like paper thin. The hinge would loose by itself. I would not recommend to buy it if you plan to use for your college kids.
