I bought the single one, the pack was a little expensive. This works great, I found it better using this than the probe offered with the treager grill. I used the grill probe for ever and could never get a medium steak. The meater works if im close, the wifi won't reach into the house.

Disconnects

Bought for my boyfriend for Christmas it’s a nice thing to have however, the prices are constantly disconnecting! I can have the block right next to them and they disconnect. We wanted something to use to keep track of our cooks in case we leave the house for a little while but nope! Have to still be home to watch due to the disconnection issues. For the money you spend shouldn’t have these issues. When it does work it’s great

Hi, and thank you for reviewing the MEATER Block. The MEATER Block, as well as the MEATER Plus and MEATER Pro, do not require a Traeger touchscreen model to use them, nor can they be linked with any grill, touchscreen or otherwise. The only MEATER probe that currently interfaces with the new touchscreen Timberlines and Ironwoods is the X MEATER, which sends cook data directly to the Traeger app. The MEATER Block pairs with the standalone MEATER app and can be used with just about any grill, Traeger or otherwise.
