Have been very happy with previous HP printers, on this one the dial is cumbersome, keeps indicating that the paper tray is empty (it isn't), can't seem to change the date - it stays on Aug 31 no matter how many times I change it. Duplex printing works sporadically. When it works the printing is fast and the quality is good - it just seems finicky.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However installing the drivers is not ideal when using the printers on a network. Very time consuming and complicated.

So far it functions as it's suppose to. Setup was easy for me, but I had to update the firmware manually as it did not auto update through the internet the first time. Driver install was automatic on Windows 11. Setting up the HP Smart was easy and am now able to print from my Android phone. Hopefully, this printer will last into the next decade or two like my last HP did.

What a great printer: blazingly fast, great print quality, and is working perfectly for all devices on my network. It’ll be interesting to see how long the toner in the supplied cartridges lasts. A complete set of new ones will cost more than the original cost of the printer, but that’s always going to be the case, regardless of manufacturer.

This printer works extremely well and does what its supposed to do. I enjoy the wifi connection and can print from anywhere, whether in my business or outside with a connection. The print is clean and great colours when required. I'm very happy with this unit and it deserves the 5 stars.
