A Great Replacement for Inkjet and Laser Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my old setup of an all-in-one inkjet printer and a separate black and white laser printer with this HP printer. I mainly print documents with occasional color printing, and I scan using my phone so I wasn't looking for a scanner function in the new printer.
Easy Setup, Almost - Unboxing and initial setup were a breeze. The printer itself is a bit heavy, but getting it ready to go was quick. I plugged it in, answered a few setup questions, and downloaded the app. However, I missed a crucial detail: this HP printer requires a wired ethernet connection to set up with the app. After a quick trip to the store for a cable, I was back on track. Once I connected the cable, the app found the printer immediately and I was ready to print.
This HP printer is a speed demon! It handles both documents and photos with ease, and the double-sided printing is equally fast. Even when using duplex printing, the speed is impressive. The documents are crisp and sharp, and even photos look good on this machine.
For a color laser printer, this HP model has a surprisingly small footprint. It won't take up a ton of space on your desk. It also has a handy bypass tray that lets you print on specialty papers, which is a feature I might use in the future.
Overall, a Great Choice. This HP printer is a great replacement for my old inkjet and laser printer combo. It's fast, produces high-quality prints, and has a small footprint. The only hiccup during setup was the requirement for a wired ethernet connection, but once I had that, the app setup was quick and easy. Finally a printer that just works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this printer. For some reason, it seems like I have always been plagued with printer problems. Either the ink dried up or it didn’t print well or it just flat out broke. I just wanted something simple. Send the print job, it prints, done. I’ve finally found it. I’ve been using this printer a couple weeks and it’s been flawless. It’s so simple and it just works! The app is also simple and easy to navigate. I foresee this printer lasting years for me. Seems very well made and looks modern and professional. I would definitely recommend. I’m a heavy home user but believe it would be just as good in an office. So happy!

Awesome Printer

We print documents for work, personal use, and even our daughter prints out fun activity sheets. It prints very fast, so we never wait long. I love the 2 sided printing as well since it saves us money on paper. Connecting it to the internet was fast and easy, plus we can print right from our phones - such a nice feature. The colors and details of every printed document are fantastic. We get beautiful pictures and pristine outlines. Even our friends have commented on items we have printed out.

The quality of the color prints specifically when printing pictures of real people looks so crisp and good. It looks like an actual photograph print. Not to mention overall the printer is quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m the owner of a small sword fighting/ martial arts school. We do a fair amount of printing for promotions. A good color printer is essential to our success. For the last ten years we have used a HP Color Laser Jet CP1518ni. It has been an excellent partner in our endeavors. The best suitable upgrade appears to be the new HP Laser Jet Pro 4201dn. It’s full color capability and high speed printing (@ 35PPM) it is exactly what we need. Installation was as easy as plugging in the USB cord and performing the guided setup on the 2.7” screen by running through a few menus. The one challenge presented was that the scroll button/knob doesn’t seem secure and sturdy. The best feature of this printer for me is that the toner cartridges are reasonably priced and produce thousands of copies per cartridge. This printer is one of the best values out there today. I’m looking forward to many years of service.

It unboxed easily and setup was a breeze, I really like having the blue front panel as it makes it look even better, it's nice having a printer that is not all one color. After checking it over, I noticed how easy it is to change toner cartridges, pull the tray, and lift out the used toner. Connecting it to my home network was simple and quick. The only thing that took a few moments to get used to was the settings knob, but once you get it, operation is smooth. Printing is quick and looks great. Having a printer with auto-duplex is so convenient and conserves paper to boot. If all you need is a color printer and not a multifunction device, you should consider this printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn to use in the office where I volunteer. Did have a few problems setting up due to computers need updated. When I finally got it set up the print quality was impressive. This will save us so much on going out to get color copies. It is a bit heavy. I would recommend this printer to anyone want ihgh quality looking copies.

Good for Laserjet and Color Printing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a laserjet printer since I print so often working from home but also use color printing when necessary and for personal creative projects. What I like about the printer is how quiet and fast the printing is, how it has 2-sided printing, and the size of the laserjet is perfect for a small office and provides quality printed professional documents. It’s almost perfect, however the downside is it is not wireless and requires an ethernet/usb connection and the menu navigation is not user-friendly. I had a bit of trouble connecting it to the ethernet, but had to reset my router for it to be recognized. I really don’t like using the dial for the menu navigation as it is difficult and time consuming to use, especially if you have to type something such as connecting it to the network, or logging in as an admin or user. I also wish it didn’t log out every time. I know it is a safety feature but logging back in is such a hassle with the dial. When you type sometimes it doesn’t register that you clicked the character or it slides to the next character and selects it, then you have to navigate all the way back to the backspace and then back to the letter, hoping it doesn’t happen again. If the printer had wireless connection and a touchscreen menu, it would get five stars. But it serves its purpose well otherwise.
