A powerhouse color laser printer at a great price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My HP 4201-dn purchase was a huge upgrade to my productivity. I recently hooked this printer up and was super pleased at the ease of configuration. Everything connected automatically and windows found the printer easily. The control wheel made navigating the menus much easier than traditional button-based input. Anyone who has ever entered an IP address into a printer using up and down keys knows what I am talking about here!
I printed a full-page color photo to test things and it was out in an instant. The print quality was great despite my lower quality paper and the printer quietly went back to sleep (probably saving a ton of energy.
I have since printed multiple large documents and multiple copies of Powerpoint documents for meetings and the quality and speed of this printer continues to amaze me. It is also really quiet when printing, so if you have a quiet office or business and want something that won't disrupt conversations, this is a sure winner. Consumables are also much cheaper for this than ink-jet based printers so you not only print faster and quieter, but also save money when it comes time to purchase supplies.
I am a big fan overall and will recommend this printer to anyone looking for a small business or professional home printing solution.

Great product for a small office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn is an excellent choice for a connected office. The print quality is impressive for its size. While it may not be the fastest or boast a plethora of features, the output quality is outstanding. My least favorite aspect is the dial – it’s cumbersome to navigate and poorly designed overall. However, after the initial setup, I’ve barely needed to use it. The printer operates quietly and has an aesthetically pleasing appearance on a desk. Personally, I would prefer it in either all white or all black, but that’s more a matter of personal preference. The real considerations will be the cost of ink and the machine’s longevity. It integrates seamlessly with an iOS environment, which is a plus. The lack of WiFi connectivity is disappointing, especially in 2024, but we move on. Overall, I highly recommend this printer for offices with a small team that requires color printing.

The HP Smart app makes everything more interesting, you can do absolutely everything with it, choose the print quality, edit, crop and even scan a document or photo. I am extremely passionate and I recommend it to everyone if you are looking for a quality and fast product, it is definitely the product you are looking for, perfect for companies or small jobs.

Surprisingly Fast and High Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn to use as a second printer in our house. My wife is a student and prints large volumes of papers, notes and presentations constantly. Setup was simple. Unbox, remove the (obvious) packing tape, plug it in and turn it on. The only downside was no WiFi, which is easily fixed with any WiFi/Ethernet bridge adapter. It's amazingly fast, premium quality and it looks great in her office. Definitely recommended!

The only thing I've had trouble doing with it is adding it to my hp account and starting HP Insta Ink. I still need to play around with more of the features it offers. But so far I absolutely love this product.

An excellent color laser printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buying printers is one of those things that, despite their technological advances, we normally don't think about replacing unless there is a problem with our existing units. Enter the ultra-attractive HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn. First and foremost, it is an excellent printer that is very good at doing its assigned task. Pages look professionally printed and come out extremely fast. With the ability to print 35 pages per minute, this should suffice for any home or small office. Despite not being touch screen, the dial control feature works well.
The one thing I would advise to any future purchasers is to note that this particular model does require an ethernet connection, as opposed to wifi, so pre-planning placement of this printer is an absolute must.

Crisp and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP LaserJet Pro4201 is a quality printer. It is very easy to set up and instructions are easy to follow. It comes ready to plug into your network via ethernet cable or computer with USB. As an inkjet user in my home office, I needed to take the leap and purchase a quality desktop laser printer. The quality of the print is crisp and clean. It prints quickly so no long waits for large print jobs. The toner cartridges are easy to locate and replace. I love that the toner comes in individual cartridges saving money on just replacing what you need. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Printers these days are unnecessarily complex and need a thousand different drivers and don't work across computers and phones. Enter the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4201DN. It's simple and these days why pay extra for fax when you just need a solid printer? I opted for this model over the FDN for that reason. Color should always be in toner especially when printing large reports because ink runs out too quickly. Overall the initial setup was easy and I got it onto my network quickly and installed on my server via network. Then I was able to print to it from my phone via the same server and that gave me nice colorful pages.
Packaging wise its very compact considering it has 4 toner cartridges. The screen is easy enough to use and I like the splash of blue on the front. Pages come out quick with no smudges and so far I've printed over 100 pages with no jams.
