Works great. Had 1 lightening bolt only. Maybe mention that the screws to mount it are in the battery compartment. We thought they were missing. That's about it.

First unit quit working after a few years of being in the weather. Liked it so much I replaced it with the exact same model. Had a bit of trouble on the window ledge where the monitor is located getting a strong enough signal, but found a good spot and the unit is working just fine.

I bought an Acurite weather station about 25 years ago. Wow, a lot has changed. Sleeker and with its own monitor. Easy to install. So far I have had no problems. I did calibrate the rain gauge as it was a little off according to your recommendations. It's only rained once since I've had it though. I've noticed the lightning detector sometimes records strikes and other times calls them "interference." It only says interference is during a storm so it must be the strikes doing it. None of the trouble shooting suggestions apply.

My husband and I love our AcuRite unit. It is very accurate. Setup is very easy. The screen is very clear and easy to read This is the second AcuRite unit I've had. The first one was too close to my flag pole and the flag broke one of the wind cups off.

I've been using AcuRite among other Weather Station for many years and AcuRite has held up well and lasted long. Easy to setup, nice display and website and app viewing. I would recommend this weather station for beginner and also weather enthusiasts.
