this is a weather station and this is not the 1st one i have ever had. all other weather stations i have had a battery backup but this new model does not. kinda disappointed. we lose power quite often and thats when the weather station would be useful. all others i had did. Our house was hit by lightning and the power cord quit working luckily there was a battery backup until the new power cord was received. please rework this model to include a battery back up and send out the new base please

Very easy to install. I love everything about it. My Brother bought me one of these several years ago. I dropped the LCD Panel display and it quit working so I got another. I love the temp, humidity, date, lightening strike, just everything. Thank you for the quality unit.
