Great product, easy install and accurate. This was a replacement for a display that lost the main screen after 10 years. The addition of the lighting alarm is interesting but not tried out yet, weather shortage. Would like to have found a battery back-up in the display as Ohio electric is some what intermittent.

I have had 3 or 4 of these over the years the first one was great, the second one not so much but was replaced under warranty, and it was working good until a thunderstorm. didn't survive. those were all fo my business. this one is for personal use at home, lets hope it holds up like the first one.i really like this station lots of info and pretty accurate.

The station was relatively easy to install per package directions. My only complaint is that we were shorted one mounting screw. It was a challenge to mount it level by the bubble level while still having it high off the ground where seeing the level was difficult. And, it would be helpful to have a cleat marker as to orient the device to due south. But once installed, it's worked well.

AcuRite weather stations are really great. I have 3 now at different locations. My only concern is that the display unit does not hold the date and time in the event of a power failure.

I have for the most part a great experience with the Acurite weather station. Unfortunately I have not have one survive a hurricane. Water will get blown into the unit and short out the control board. The price makes it affordable to replace the part or the whole system.
