I bought this a month and a half ago so, I had plenty of time to check it out. I am very well, pleased. It does everything that I need it to do.

I don't like it at all. Can't find short cuts, don't like straight line no voice for directions on straight line.

No voice command feature

I didn't notice as I was reading the description online, but voice command is not included. I got so use to that feature that I guess I just assumed it was a feature on all models. Makes it real hard when you need to find a place or select from saved places while driving. But.... this is still a very good device, cleaner look when looking at maps. Does everything else I've come to expect and appreciate from Garmin. When the next time rolls around and I need to buy another, I will pay better attention to be sure voice command is included. My experience so far with Garmin is these last a long time, so it might be a while. I prefer Garmin to the phone maps/directions. Garmin just feels more in tune with how people drive and need solid directions.

upgraded my nuvi 57 to Drive 53+ Traffic

while the new sleek design is more aesthetic. another plus is the real time is quicker. It took a little while to understand the idiosyncrasies i.e. (naming the route) there is one feature I wish was carried over; being able to set the arrival time i.e.( Philadelphia, Pa to Wildwood, NJ is a 1hr 40 min drive and i would like to get there at 10:00am. I specified that and it would tell me i had to leave at 8:20 am )during the route planning, now i have to rely on travel time and do math to figure out my start time.

I had a Drive 53 with SD card. I cannot move the saved data on this Drive 53 SD card to the new Express 53 traffic unit. What do I do to accomplish this? Also you need an option to have you set up the new unit, of course for a fee. Those of us who are boomers, nearly 80, do not really understand the process to set up the new unit.

Very Well Designed Product

I bot this one because I've had Garmin in my boat, airplane, and car. Garmin is great stuff. Unfortunately, the batteries in my Garmin car GPS crapped out after about 10 years, and that's OK because the unit didn't owe me anything after being in service for 10 years. It is fast, accurate, and very intuitive. Don't bother with WAYS and other map software on your stinking iPhone. Get a Garmin and join the Pepsi Generation. Highly recommended unit.
