Bright screen, very clear

Great GPS that I finally got to use. The delay in trying it out was in finding the correct dash board telescoping holder. This Garmin is better than the one I had in 2008. It’s more compact and also easy to hear the directions!

I tried to enter an address at Emma Lake. The Garmin could not find it. It is on Goole Maps and OpenSteetMaps. What gives?

The screen is much better than older units, but the trip advisor is junk, it shows the most expensive places within an hour drive and ignores the places that are close.

I bought this to replace my Garmin 50ML. I like this one as it operates similar to my other one but also gives me the traffic option for cameras, etc.

Good GPS, slow satellite acquisition

I have owned various Garmin GPS devices for 20+ years. I like them. However my latest device, Garmin 53 with traffic is really slow to acquire satellites. Slowe than my Nuvi 50, which is, quite frankly old! Slow in the US and really slow in the EU. By slow in the EU, I mean like 6 minutes! Garmin, if you fix this, you get 5 stars!
