Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress is Our Happy Place

The Nectar Premier Copper mattress is the second memory foam mattress my husband and I have purchased and used. We wanted to replace our cheap 12" Zinus one that served us well, but was beginning to lose support. We are big people (me around 250lb and him around 280lb), so we actually tried a hybrid foam mattress first because we read they are good for heavy people. Unfortunately, we really hated it. I didn't previously experience back pain from sleeping, and had extremely bad back pain with the hybrid mattress. My husband's back pain was not alleviated from the hybrid either. I also have a shoulder injury that, when sleeping on the hybrid, became almost unbearable. So we went right back to memory foam - Nectar specifically.
In our mattress trials and tribulations, we discovered a couple things: We are both side sleepers, we really like soft beds, and we crave that "hugged" feeling from a mattress. (My husband tosses and turns a lot as well, but is still primarily a side-sleeper.) Knowing this, we felt Nectar's super thick 14" mattress would do the trick. We are also hot sleepers, so we needed the copper properties.
We LOVE the Nectar Premier Copper memory foam mattress. It conforms to our bodies, is soft, and makes us feel all snug. We sleep so deeply in this thing.
It should be understood that memory foam is inherently hot, so the copper properties just minimizes it; and Nectar does a very good job at it. Memory foam also kind of sucks you in, so if you don't like that, this isn't for you. Or perhaps you need a thinner one because compared to our 12" mattress, Nectar's 14" is softer. But! It is still supportive! My shoulder feels much better, and both our backs feel better as well! The edge construction is a bit soft (I mean, it IS a big foamy rectangle...), but we both tend to sleep close our respective edges and haven't felt unsafe at all.
My husband is understandably a bit concerned about the use of the fiberglass in the mattress construction, so it's admittedly not the most sustainable product available.
TLDR: Dang y'all... this mattress is heckin' comfy.

Game changer

Bought this after researching for years, due to my lumbar degenerative disc issue. Husband’s mattress was cheap and I kept thinking I needed a firmer mattress. Well this was the ticket. It’s definitely a medium, not that firm, but it has been a complete game changer as I no longer wake up with back pain. Also I can lie in bed and read, and not regret it in the morning because my BACK DOESNT HURT ANYMORE. I cannot recommend this enough. It is so comfortable. Also my German Shepherd dogs recommend since they make their way onto it each night.

I was skeptical about buying a mattress online without feeling it. Boy am I glad I did! Ever since the first night with it, I’m pretty much out when my head hits the pillow and I’m never like that. No more back or hip pain at all!
