Mattress is great until it isn't

I originally purchased my nectar mattress in late 2018.... It was delivered 2 weeks late and I was forced to sleep on a mattress pad until it came in as I got rid of my old mattress already. Finally out arrived and was all worth it . Very comfortable, very supportive. Then a little after a year (once the trial was over) It started to get softer and softer despite rotating it every couple months. I contacted nectar about a replacement in 2020 and they were amazing with getting that taken care of. Now... Barely 2 years later once again the replacement mattress is too soft. I hope they replace it again but given my experience and the fact that I barely make it 2 years with this mattress is frustrating. I shouldn't have to replace this ever year anda half to 2 years. Inn the last year I got engaged and my partner moved in so now we share the queen mattress. I wish I had bought a King sized mattress but we'd still have the same problem. I weighed around 215 lbs when I initially got the mattress and now with around 240. My partner weighs around 170..... My side generally is softer but his side is getting there as well and he's walking up in pain as am I. I don't know if the newer "premium" versions are any better but this model doesn't work for me and i don't want to have to replace so regularly.... It can't be good for nectar either but that's what I'll do if I have to. It's the most I've ever spent on a mattress and I can't afford to buy something else right now. I'm so frustrated and in pain!

We have owned our Nector for almost a year and I just can’t love it. It sleeps SO hot!!! :u1F975: I wake up covered in sweat almost nightly. The “free” pillows are extremely hard and impossible to sleep on. I’m so disappointed! I was so excited for this bed after reading such wonderful reviews.

The mattress was purchased for my mother, who lives with chronic conditions involving joint and muscle pain. She likes a plush mattress, but the price on this one was good and she didn't know what to expect, having never slept on this kind of mattress. Delivery, packaging, and set up were great and easy. She finds the mattress comfortable, overall, but too hard, and the mattress holds in heat where her body rests on it. Also, she is a side sleeper and wakes with hip and knee pain most days. If we had it to do over again, we would have gone for a mattress with a pillow top. Hopefully, this one will "break in" over time and not be so very firm.
