Not supportive and Return promise is a nightmare

The mattress is comfortable if you lay in the middle of it. Getting in and out of the bed is the problem. The sides of the mattress are not firm and collapse under even minimal weight. So when I sat on it (I only weigh 120 lbs) to tie my shoe, it buckled under my weight. When I sit on it to lie down the same thing happens. When I roll to the side of the mattress in the middle of the night it doesn't feel sturdy. My partner who is over 6'4" and over 250 lbs feels like he's going to fall out of the bed. If the sides were more firm and supportive, we would like the bed, but we cannot comfortably sleep in it. The first time I called to request to return it, the woman I spoke to talked me into trying their "firm topper." I agreed. I waited two weeks for it. It was not firm. It provided no additional support. What it did do, was completely negate the cooling effect of the mattress. I woke up multiple times the night I used it in a pool of sweat - and it was in the 40s that night. I took it off - as well as the mattress and put my old one back on.
I bought a Nectar and not another mattress due to their trial and return policy. Well, they have made returning the mattress a NIGHTMARE!! You can't just call up and say you aren't satisfied and that you want to return it. You have to take and email them pictures of the mattress, tags, and then more pics doing a weight test. I asked and this is their process. They are looking for it to be defective. It's not. I went to a mattress store and tried the one there. It did the same thing.
The lack of side support might not bother some people. But it is not the mattress for me. And the process to return was anything but easy. It was frustrating and aggravating. On my 3rd call and after several emails, I finally got them to agree to refund the mattress.
I really wanted to like this mattress and company. I get that not all mattresses work for everyone. But they should honor their commitment to an easy return.

I slept on one of these for 10 days while in Tokyo for the Paralympics thanks to USA Track & Field. I have never slept better in my life. I normally wake up with low back pain but didnt on the Nectar! I loved it so much my husband and I purchased one of our own when I returned. We love it so far!

I happened to receive a Facebook ad for Nectar (probably because I had googled another mattress company a few times looking for a mattress). I still shopped around online & thought Nectar had the beat deal. We are so glad we ordered our beds!! We got 2 twin beds with the adjustable frames so we can raise our heads/feet separately. Couldn’t believe how easy/quick it was to put together! Loved trying out all the settings (the Zero Gravity setting is so wild - truly feels like you’re floating!). We snore less, don’t sweat all night like we used to, and never slept better! You won’t regret getting this!!!
