I have been dealing with pain sleeping for about 20 years. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and started learning about changes I can make to help limit my pain issues. I didn’t know how much my old mattress was adding to my pain until I tried a foam mattress at our friend’s cabin. So I researched when I got home and came across Nectar. I have had it for a couple of months now and have noticed a significant difference in my sleep quality. My husband also has had better sleep with it. Our children keep trying to take over our bed and are asking for us to upgrade there mattresses now lol. This one change has made such a difference so far in my life that I’m kicking myself for not doing this sooner. I also love that they give a year to try it out. Since I have fibromyalgia, I can get bad flair ups of pain so I get the needed time to really see how the bed will work with it. So far everything is great.

Not the mattress for us

I’m sure this would be a great mattress for anyone that likes a softer bed but it wasn’t for us. We suffer from low back and hip pain and just didn’t get the support we needed. Utilized the sleep trial and returned the mattress. It was picked up by a third party today

Not the issues that cheaper ones have

I bought the premium mattress as it fit my needs and had the firmness I desired. I’ve heard that even nectars more basic models have sag, so I wondered if this would be the same.
I’m a pretty heavy woman and the premium offers no sag what so ever.
The reason it got 4 stars was because it’s supposed to have a cooling effect. I’ve felt no different laying on this mattress and my traditional one. As I said I’m a big woman, I needed the cooling to actually cool. Before you ask I sleep with a Cpap so it’s not a medical issue. The mattress just failed in this aspect.
The mattress doesn’t wiggle or giggle. My brass bed does not hit the wall during martial Funtime. It’s sturdy, soft, and firm. No pain anywhere when I sleep on it. I wake up and take less Tylenol/nsaids than I used to. Overall great purchase. Will be purchasing my children’s twin sizes soon.

Does not live up to the hype

For a side sleeper, it is it not firm enough. I wanted to upgrade from our previous mattress because I kept waking up with lower back pain. I went online and read all these amazing reviews about the nectar mattress on top of all the free "luxury" accessories thrown in (free mattress cover, sheets, pillows, quilt, and Google nest). But I tried it for 3 weeks and it's just meh.
I now wake up with middle back pain. I went through five different pillows to desperately try to make it work (hard, firm, high, fluffy, soft). I also have got to say that the free accessories are super low quality. The sheets are paper thin, the quilt feels like sand paper, and their pillows are flat.
I do like that it is silent and I don't wake up my partner in the middle of the night for my bathroom stops. I also liked that it was on the more affordable side. But other than that, I feel like I was roped in with all their free accessories that I don't even want to use.
I will be returning it for a firmer mattress.
