No more restless night I gotten the best sleep in a long time

side sleeper, bye-bye back pain

Personal info: Side sleeper, 220lb, 6ft 1in.
I have been unable to sleep more than 4 hrs in a row for years now because I wake up with lower back pain. Now I sleep until I am done, about 8 hrs, changing sides 3 or 4 times total during the night. I wake up with zero pain in my back, neck, or shoulders.
The mattress: It is very firm in my opinion, a lot of push back under the heavy spots, but it is a soft push back feel, if that makes any sense. You just don't over sink in the heavy areas like on other mattresses, memory foam or not.
It takes a few weeks to get use to, even if you are use to a memory foam mattress because this one is different. The first thing you think is that it is too firm, or hard. But it really isn't, it just doesn't sink way down and swallow you up like you may be used to with softer memory foam.
The pillows: These are standard size according to the company, but they fill out a king pillow case pretty fully I'd say. They are way thick, and like the mattress they feel very firm or even hard at first. If you are a side sleeper with wide shoulders like me you need to have your head higher off the mattress to align the spine right or you will have shoulder pain. This is especially true on a mattress that doesn't sink in much like this one. These pillows keep you elevated but feel kind of hard, so I wasn't sure about them until I figured out something. They seem to consist of shredded memory foam with a firm layer of memory foam on both sides, so, I turned it on its side and felt how it squished differently. You can feel the shredded foam in between the layered foam of you do this. The secret for me is to turn it on its side and sleep on it that way. Magic happens. It feels much softer on your head, conforms more, but still elevates enough to align the spine. It may look better the other way, but it feels better sideways! Now I love the pillow, and the mattress. So far. It has only been two weeks, so I have 50 to go. I'll probably know for sure by then, huh? That's why I gave four stars, I have to wait and be sure right?

Prior to getting the Nectar bed, i slept on a reclining chair and not with my wife because of the poor mattress we shared.
I have only slept in our bed for 4 nights so far, and i am already seeing results.
Prior to the Nectar bed, i would wake up 5, 6, 7, 8, times a night with numb hands, sore back and literally needing to roll out of bed because of back pain.
The first night wasn't the best, i guess that is normal with any new bed. The second night was better, by last night, i didn't wake up at all, my hands didn't go numb, i didn't need to roll out of bed, i was well rested and happy to get the day started.
Thank you Nectar for saving my marriage.

Quality mattress, but long shipping timeline

I ordered my mattress on 4/31, and received an estimated ship date of 5/2. The mattress didn't actually arrive until 5/19, and I didn't receive a tracking number until a week before then. I've only had a chance to sleep on it a couple of times so far, but it seems like a quality mattress. A little firm, but I'm hoping that is part of the break in period. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I just wish I was aware of the long wait time before I purchased

Density differences in different sizes??

We have a 6 month old queen size Nectar in our guest room. The king size we bought for our bed seems much softer, especially on the edges where one might sit. I've been told there are no differences between sizes in regard to density, but my experience has been different. Will try for a few more months so I'm glad for the return guarantee. The bed is comfortable but on the soft side.

Pregnant Lady Approved!

To start this review off, I am six months pregnant - so you can only guess how important sleep is to me right now AND also how difficult it is to get comfortable while sleeping. After researching mattress options out there, we decided to go with Nectar to replace our crappy/old pillow top mattress. I was a little hesitant to order a mattress online, not only because it's such a big purchase but it's also something you want to try before buying. Nectar's return policy, etc. made them and easy choice. We un-boxed our mattress, which arrived super quickly, and let it six for 72 hours. After sleeping on it for the past three nights, I cannot believe how we ever slept on our old mattress for so long. Nectar has just the right about of softness, where your body feels support and your curves catered to, but also has enough firmness to where you wake up without any back pain. The pillows that came with are an added bonus. Pregnant lady approved! Just something to note - it does still have a little bit of a smell, I'm sure just from packaging, but it's fading out quickly.

Didnt even get my bed, and im super disappointed.

Not only, can you not get a hold of anyone, for 6 hours, but also, when you order when everything is in stock, they still don't ship it in 5-6 business days. I couldnt get a hold of anyone, every time i got close to my turn in line, it would kick me off, and here i was, waiting another 6 hours to talk to someone, im exhausted from this company alone. dont buy if youre in dire need of a bed. youll wait 3x longer than they say.

Doesnt meet expectations/ upset customer

We ordered our matress on may 29th, it is now july 1st and we just received it. It took over a month to receive and it was supposed to ship within 7-10 businesses days. UPS was a terrible service to be delivered through, when it finally did ship, it stayed on their truck for days with out being delivered. I know this because I checked the tracking # consistently and even when being in our neighborhood, no one came to our door. Today we received the box and it was opened, ripped all around, and the matress even had some dirt on it (not much but definitely didn't expect to see that since its wrapped so tightly). After we cut open the matress the fabric all around the matress was loose and off centered. The matress foam is warped and is bent upwards on both ends. Even after waiting 4 hours, the matress still hasn't fluffed up on the bent side. We flipped the matress over to see why it was still bent and the bottom layer of foam has a deep crease going inward. I will have to contact them for replacement and hope that the new one isnt the same or take as long.
I was so excited for this matress due to the great customer service. A Nectar service rep answered all my questions promptly and even did some research on the questions they didnt know the answers to. Now that I have it in my home it doesnt meet expectations. I'm very upset.
