literally the best

when I first laid on this mattress, I literally cried. it was so comfy. then the first night sleeping on it was so weird. was there chloroform on it?! nights after that have been more normal, but still much better sleep lol my joints are absolutely terrible and every time I moved, they'd be cracking and popping for the first few days. they're so much happier on this mattress. we had a tempurpedic before, which at this point was several years old. but it always held heat SO badly and this mattress does not do that. I'm very thankful for this mattress! and thank you for shipping to Alaska without costing my soul!!

Exactly what I was looking for!

I purchased this to replace an older mattress that was sinking in the middle and this is so lovely! It is the perfect balance between firm and soft and doesn't get too hot. The smell took more time to dissipate than anticipated, but that's to be expected. Overall very happy and have been sleeping so well!!

Liked it, but it's shorter than a regular mattress

I like the mattress, but it is shorter than most mattresses, and leaves a gap (like 2-3 inches) from the mattress to the footboard... it sleeps nice, but just wished it was longer.

Memory foam not for me?

TLDR: After 3.5 years I’m switching back to innerspring.
Before the Nectar I had a soft hybrid mattress that gave me terrible back pain so anything was better than that. Nectar is ok, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just not for us. It’s more firm than I expected causing numbness in my shoulders (I’m only 120 lbs). But not firm enough in my hips so my lower back is not supported well enough and I wake up with so much tightness. When I lay on my back, my bottom dips into the mattress causing an arch in my back so when I wake up, I cannot bend over or squat down without so much pain. Interestingly, my big muscly boyfriend also gets numb shoulders and upper back from this bed so we have both become stomach sleepers on this bed and that’s why we’re throwing in the towel and getting yet another new bed.
I will say setup was easy and I had no issue with that. I also feel like it greatly reduced motion transfer compared to innerspring! But it also gets much hotter and it’s just unbearable in the summer. And after 3.5 years, there’s a dent where we each sleep, so the lower back issue has become worse.
After spending a week in a hotel with an innerspring mattress, I realized how bad the Nectar bed was for me. In the hotel I was waking up pain free every day even after an all-day hike. I loved this bed when I first got it, probably just because it was so much better than my soft mattress before, but maybe also it’s worn out quickly.

This Mattress is goat

I greatly appreciate the Cal King Mattress. Ever since I copped it, I've adjusted to being a back sleeper. I would recommend this mattress to anyone who is trying to get into the habit of sleeping on their back

This mattress is super comfortable and I love how it shapes to my body. However I did go through a period where I would wake up with awful back pain because I was not used to such a firm bed. Good purchase and happy with it, not sure I’d get it again though.
