A Great Decision!

Having just moved in to my first apartment after landing a job fresh out of college, buying a mattress was not high on my list of priorities. I am young and could survive on an air mattress if needed. After sleeping on that for months, it finally started to give out and unresolvable back pain started which led me to start sleeping on the floor, plus the time of the holidays came around with enticing deals, I finally caved- I needed a new mattress. Due to coronavirus and being in a hotspot location, I did not want to go out to look for a mattress and decided I should start researching the bed-in-a-box option. Both Purple, Nectar, and Puffy mattresses had interesting standout features, ultimately I chose Nectar because of the deal, the most bang for my buck. Having zero life experience on buying a mattress, I was really hesistant to drop such a big chunk of change on a mattress. Though, I was most nervous that my body would not like the new mattress. Ever since I unboxed it, minus the day I let it air out (really strong plastic-y smell), I have enjoyed sleeping on it. I enjoy the memory foam and love how perfectly cushy it is. I also enjoy the fact that no matter how I lie, there is always even pressure on my joints. Only time will tell (since there's a 365 night sleep trial), but I have a feeling this mattress isn't going anywhere any time soon!

My husband and I are still not sleeping well. Occasionally, we will have a good night's sleep. We are trying to decide if we should ask to return it or at exchange it.

The mattress has been great! Super comfortable and feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud. Just the right amount of sinkage but also support.

Don’t buy the Bedframe from nectar

The bed it self is comfortable. My husband and I waited to put the bed frame together, so we didn’t have to worry about taking it apart if we didn’t like the mattress. We felt the bed was a good fit for us and put the frame together to quickly learn that it’s not built right and the support beams are to short for the width of the bed. Now not even a couple months in, the frame just broke. When I contacted nectar, they told me the frame only has a 30 day warranty and since it was out of the 30 days, it was out of luck. Which particularly sucks because I’m still paying for it. Just buy another frame from some where else if you decide on the bed!

Not as perfectly comfortable as imagined

I was highly anticipating the arrival of my new Nectar mattress and am sorry to say that I have been disappointed in its performance. While I am not feeling pain from pressure points such as hips I am routinely waking up with pain in my neck and upper back. I have tried multiple different pillows and have not been able to sleep truly comfortably.

I have been having a hard time sleeping on this bed. The first week I considered sleeping on the floor because I just could not get comfortable. Halfway through the second week, it became better, but unfortunately I'm not noticing anything fantastic about the the mattress. I really wanted to like it and I'm giving it another month to see if I can break it in, but I may have to return if it doesn't get better.

This bed was a big upgrade from my old queen size bed. I recently started having lower back problems and after getting this bed and taking some time off of work. I got the nectar king size bed and slept on it the first night and instantly noticed a better sleep and no pain to my back that next morning. Been recommending this bed to everyone who comes by to see the new house that I got along with this bed.
