Not bad...not great either

The buying process was simple enough (of course) and the delivery was relatively quick.
Didn’t like the mattress and pillows were too small. Did t like the sheets either. Was informed that I couldn’t return it until 30 days had passed and the items that were included “free” would be deducted from the refunded monies.
Buyers note: if you don’t know if you’d like the mattress or not, do not use the pillows, pad, and sheets that are added to your order. If you use them, you will not get your money back, and even though they were “free”, you’ll be charged for them on return. So....hold off on using them.
Anndd...you. Ant return it before 30 days. So if you find it to be uncomfortable, you are expected to tough it out until they give the go-ahead for a return.

I ordered my CalKing on 4/28 & received my mattress yesterday (5/20) & had the BEST sleep last night that I’ve had in a while. Definitely soft, yet still solid. I’m mostly a side sleeper, but switch to my stomach every so often. And, I almost forgot my BF was right next to me - I felt none of his movement in the middle of the night :sweat_smile:
Unfortunately, my free items were all shipped separately and are arriving sporadically. I thought my free pillows would have at least came with the mattress as stated in my confirmation emails, but that wasn’t the case. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt due to COVID-19. I just hope I hear from someone soon with an update.

Terrible Mattress

I bought this mattress over two years ago. It was great for about 13 months, just outside their 365 trial period, of course. Now it sinks in and has no support. I now have terrible back pain from the mattress. With such a long trial period, I figured what could I lose? I wish I would have literally bought any other online mattress. I've actually been sleeping on the floor because it is more comfortable. Their warranty is a joke too, they only provide you with a new mattress if it is X inches sunk in, not just terribly uncomfortable. All the good reviews are from people that just purchased it. I loved this mattress too right away, but what good is a mattress that is only comfortable for 1 year.

Good Sleep

I ordered the full size, it did not take me long to to get used to the mattress Very comfortable only wish I would have gotten the queen size! And I ordered the frame & headboard All very heavy duty, not disappointed in any way.
Got free pillows, protector & set of sheets Ordered at the time they were offering all free ...and it did take 4 weeks to get all

No more aches

I really loved this mattress. As a side sleeper I woke up with considerably less aches in my shoulders and back. Unfortunately I’m also a super hot sleeper and this mattress was too hot for me. I’d wake up drenched in sweat and we have no AC so summer months with this just didn’t not work out. My boyfriend however did not sleep well on it and we’re starting the return on it. But if it wasn’t so hot we probably would have kept it.

The Best Purchase

I have been sleeping in my nectar for about 7 months now and wanted to wait long enough to make sure I loved the bed. I wanted so badly to give them a 5 star, however I couldn't but it has nothing to do with the bed itself. The bed is absolutely amazing and it did take me about 2 weeks to get used to it, I will not lie. When you tend to turn a lot in your sleep like me, this bed doesn't allow much give or bounce to allow this without waking up every time to re-adjust. At first I didn't like this and thought what was I thinking buying this hed, however; it only took an adjustment period before I was able to turn and not wake up every time and ever since then, it has been amazing. The been is soft but firm, you don't sink into it causing you to wake up with back pain. On a Traditional bed, I would wake up and would have to give myself some time to get up because my back and hips would be stiff and hurt pretty bad making it hard to jump right up out of bed and I do not have this problem in this bed. I can lay in it for 12 hours and sometimes I do sleep that long, really if my job was stressful the day before and I have no aches and pains at all. Now the reason for the 4 star review instead of a 5 star review. The foundation bought separately which would be called just that "foundation" is one of the most horrably made products I've ever bought. I am 33 and not a small girl weighing almost 300 pounds and husband not healthy weight but not really big. We put this foundation up and it bowed horrible in the middle as it is made out of thin wood and most likely not even wood but particle board, it bowed on me of course being overweight but it also bowed on my husband. The sides look beautiful but it really is 4 thin pieces nailed together and fabric wrapped around it to give it the illusion that it is solid piece of wood and it is not, my husband had to brace the middle of all sides with 2 bricks so it would not snap. So, when you read reviews that tell you the bed broke when they were sleeping, they are correct as it is horrible quality and it doesn't take someone overweight to snap this foundation..... BUT thankfully I was not paying attention when I made my purchase and I purchased the foundation not realizing I purchased the bed with a head board which came with another foundation obviously haha. Now the headboard that comes with that package is absolutely amazing, this foundation is solid metal, has solid metal supports everywhere and I literally can bounce on this bed and it not move at all. So yes, DO NOT buy their foundation separately as it is not made the same as the Bed + Head Board. I am glad I ended up buying both by accident that way my review is more thorough than someone saying the bed broke while sleeping. Do not allow those reviews to stop you from buying this amazing bed, just make sure you buy the Bed + Head Board NOT the Bed and the Foundation. Yes Nectar should look into the quality of the foundation and either fix it or don't sell it but at least now you will know what will and will not work. The only thing that sucks is now I have a brand new 250 dollar foundation boxed up and in my garage unable to be used. Ok, now for the customer service and arrival of items. You will read a lot of horrible comments about both being bad. I did not experience this, yes it did take some time to get my head board, however; I bought it only a couple weeks into a pandemic and they were doing the best they could. Anytime I reached out to them, I always received a response and was never ignored. My overall is the bed is absolutely amazing, the head board that comes with a foundation is absolutely amazing, their customer service and absolutely amazing, the arrival time was absolutely amazing, their customer service response was absolutely amazing. Only 1 downfall through the whole experience and items bought, their foundation is poor quality and should not be bought and no I am not a payed customer and I bring that up because I sure seem to have read those comments a lot when someone gave a good review.
