Unbelievable difference!

Prior to the Nectar, I had a Sealy spring mattress with a 5 inch memory foam topper. Both the Sealy and topper were far past their prime.
When the nectar arrived- I was skeptical. I let it expand for about 12 hours and expected the mattress to feel like a giant memory foam topper.
To my surprise, the mattress is very firm. I don’t know how to explain it, but despite feeling so firm- it subtly conforms to your shape. I nearly cried tears of joy at how comfortable it felt. I wake up rested now.
This is only the first week, but this is one of the best purchases of my life. I’m a side and back sleeper and am using this with a low profile bed + wooden slats.

I think it’s OK, my wife hates it

I think this bed is comfortable, and my sleep has improved somewhat on the few nights we’ve slept on it. I’m a 160lb man, my wife is a 120lb woman. She hates the nectar so far, but is trying to see if she gets used to it. Whatever it’s made of makes her sweat terribly in the night, and she doesn’t usually run hot but cold so that’s odd. She is a side sleeper and it causes her to have shoulder and neck stiffness in the morning. Also, she’s been waking up multiple times in the night because of the hotness, and the shoulder that is down on the bed hurting. She’s also been having the weirdest dreams, probably from the sleep being less deep. She describes the feeling of the mattress as laying on beach sand- if you lay on your back it’s comfortable and sinking in feels good, but laying on your side on the beach is not so great. We are both about 30 years old and healthy. I gave three stars because I like it.

Excellent Mattress

I am impressed with the mattress. It is both firm and soft. It is soft on the pressure points and firm on the areas where you need support. I also like the limited motion with weight transfers. My wife or myself can roll over or get up without affecting the other person. The mattress does not sag in or create a pocket around you. We also have 3 kids that climb in bed with us in the morning. The king size allows plenty of room for all of us but the quality of the mattress keeps you from noticing when any of the 5 people in bed move. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was the shipping time. I would get an email stating that it would ship on or before a certain date then on that date I would get another email giving me a new on/before date. This happened twice. I think it took right at a month for us to receive our mattress.

Great so far!

I've only slept on the mattress three nights. But so far, it is amazing. It's very comfortable and I fall asleep quickly.
Shipping is so-so. FedEx left the mattress in Texas an extra day before bringing it to me, so I didn't care for the shipping so much.

Worth the wait !

They say “good things come to those who wait” and in this case it is true. I literally read hundreds of reviews before deciding on the Nectar, most reviews had great things to say about the mattress but these great ratings were on mattress review sites. After I ordered the mattress I found hundreds of reviews not afiliated with mattress review sites that gave Nectar terrible ratings but they all had to do with the amount of time it took for the item to ship and the delays in delivery and not the mattress itself. The shipping date that nectar stated when I ordered the mattress came and went and was delayed by around 10 days, due to “ high demand”. Thus said, I revived may Necrar about five days ago with the pillows and I could not be happier with my purchase. Yes it did take a long time to arrive at my door but it was well worth the wait. If you’re in a rush and you need a mattress within a week then this mattress is probably not for you. But if you have a little patience and can wait up to a few weeks to receive your mattress then I would definitely recommend the nectar, especially for the price. Everyone these days seems to want instant gratification but it’s true when they say good things come to those who wait .
