Not what I was expecting.

Not what I was expecting. It is not comfortable because you are laying in a ditch and it is hard trying to get out of bed.

I'm sleeping well on the mattress.
My difficulty comes when putting my socks on in the morning. the edges of the mattress do not offer the support of a traditional box spring. The firm portion of the mattress seems to start about 8" from the perimeter.
One other item I hadn't considered is that a mattress protector seems to negate cooling technology.

Bed frame made cheaply

My husband and I got our bed as a wedding gift. As soon as we put it together and laid on our backs it snapped on us so for weeks we were sleeping on the mattress on the ground and fast forward to today and the bed frame is falling apart again. I am so Unhappy that it’s falling apart. Save yourself some trouble get a box spring and a metal bed frame rather than buy a wooden bed frame from them.
