Backstory: I have a bad hip and not long ago had hip surgery, and I also have a lot of back pain
My experience so far with this mattress has been fantastic! I used to have a very expensive Tempurpedic, this one rivals it, and honestly might be even better in my humble opinion.

I was not too sure about a memory foam mattress when purchasing. I have had back surgery and have 3 disks fused. I have slept on other memory foam mattress with horrible and painful results. First they were hot and made it hard to move or adjust. Before buying nectar I read lots of reviews and did research, everything seemed good so I decided to try it especially with the guarantee. Well long story short I have had the nectar for a couple of months and I am impressed, it is comfortable and supportive. Not only have I not had back pain from it my back has actually felt better each morning! It doesn't sleep hot nor is it hard to adjust position at night. I have been so impressed I have been recommending nectar to all my friends. One friend has bought one too and could not be happier. Truly a great mattress and a great price. You can't go wrong with nectar. They made a believer out of me.

Not what it used to be

My then-husband and I purchased a Nectar mattress in March 2019 and loved it. The relationship ended and I decided to re-purchase the same mattress because I really liked the one we had. It's not the same. My immediate reaction was that it's softer and the edges aren't as supportive. It feels more like a cheaper foam mattress. I really considered returning it but there's been enough else on my plate that I haven't gotten around it. I've gotten used to it enough that I likely won't at this point (5 weeks) but I don't know that I'll buy another one.

Absolutely in love with these mattresses! They are very tall so keep that in mind…at least taller than the mattress we had before. Not so tall you can’t easily get in bed, but definitely on the tall side. They are also more firm than I was expecting but that has turned out to be a good thing. I always thought of myself as preferring a softer bed, but after sleeping on this mattress for a few days, my back and hips are very happy! As a heavier person I was worried about too much “sinkage” and that has not been an issue either. Very pleased!
