First New Mattress Buyer - Disappointed

I did a lot of research before selecting Nectar, and then even more when I decided to upgrade to the Premium. Unfortunately, my sleep quality has actually taken a hit since starting to sleep on this mattress. I struggle to fall asleep and to stay asleep. I am usually a stomach sleeper, but I’ve tried sleeping on my side with this bed and found that the bed sinks in the wrong places and my spine is whackadoodle. My partner, who could sleep on the hardwood floor every night, says it’s average (he’d be fine with the 20 year old mattress that we had before).
I am appreciative of the trial period as I will continue to try new sleeping positions and hopefully uncover the best night of sleep I’ve ever had. I’ll update this review if I see any improvements in sleep quality (and/or if Nectar allows review updates).

I switched from a Temperpedic to the Nectar Premier, because of sleeping too hot!. The temperature issue is much better with the Nectar, however I am still evaluating the effects on my sleep/back pain concerns. I have been more stiff in my upper back and neck since the switch, but I am willing to give it more time.

It's hard to move while in bed. It's like it sucks you in and it takes a lot just to be able to roll over. I thought it would help to ease the pain in my hips but it makes it worse because I can't move to get comfortable. I regret purchasing this mattress. I thought buying the more expensive one would be the better way to go boy was that a mistake. Once I get into bed where I land is where I have to stay I adventually fall asleep but not because I'm comfortable but because I'm exhausted.
