Nectar Platform Bed

After a thorough search for a high quality reasonably priced platform bed frame, I purchased the all-natural wood full sized Nectar frame. It arrived on time and undamaged. It went together easily, all the pieces fit right together. To assemble I used Locktite on all the metal to metal fasteners and wood glue on all the wood to wood surfaces, although Locktite and glue are not required. The quality of the bed is better and the design is better than what is depicted on the Nectar website. I was concerned about how the 4 corners of the base attached together and how the legs fit on the frame in the same locations. Both issues are addressed by the same solution. They use 4 really thick metal plates to secure the legs and at the same time attach the frame together. It’s a clever and robust design on how it all fits together and it’s really strong both horizontally and vertically. Nectar should add a couple of photos of the bottom of the frame of these metal plates in their advertisement showing how the legs and frame all attach together, it’s impressive and a great selling point. This full sized bed is really strong and sturdy, its weight capacity is rated at supporting 700 lbs. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more than that.

I was skeptical about purchasing at first due to some reviews saying this mattress was too hard or too soft. I will say nectar hit the nail on the head. It is a good medium with frimness. I am not super light or heavy in the weight category either. It is diffrent. It is not springy like traditional mattresses so if that is something you need then I suggest looking elsewhere. For the price and how quick it got here this bed was worth it.

Best money I've ever spent for a matress in one of my trucks! Feel great every morning ready for another few hundred mile day. No sore lower back or pressure points like so many mattresses. No " dent" to fall into every night where the spot you sleep in has broke down.
