Very Hot

While this mattress is supposed to be cooling, it makes me VERY hot at night. Maybe I am just an extremely hot sleeper, but it feels as though the mattress absorbs and sustains the heat. Even with a fan directly on me, my body stays hot against the mattress. Additionally, I am a side sleeper and my lower back has actually hurt every night i've slept on this mattress (3 weeks). I have tried pillow between the legs, pillow under legs, etc. to try and even out my back, but for some reason the memory foam is uncomfortable for me.
