Comfy to sit on...

We had ordered this bed because out old mattress wasn't supporting us anymore. And the reviews were pretty good. But just about every night I've slept on it I've had terrible back and neck pain and my partner has had continued back pain every single night she has slept on it.

I want to love it!

I really want to love this mattress. I have major back pain from a car accident in the past and carrying my two babies hadn’t helped my injury. The Nectar mattress feels great on my back, the memory foam molds to your body in a way that alleviate the pressure. With my husband’s job, he works early mornings and late night’s; it’s so awesome being able to not hear him get in and out of the bed. Since it’s memory foam, the mattress doesn’t squeaks.
My husband and I purchased a Nectar king mattress, king bed frame and were gifted Resident king sheets set, mattress protector, and king pillows. I love the pillows and the bed frame! The pillows are my favorite out of the whole deal.
Like I said, I want to love this mattress but the biggest issue I have with it is, it’s too hot!! Which is why I only gave 3 stars. Sleeping hot is a huge deal breaker for me. I like to sleep cool. I keep my thermostat on 69/70 at night, but even then sleeping on this mattress I turn my fan on because I wake up hot and sweaty. The Nectar mattress feels like it absorbs heat, so then the sheets feel wet and clingy to my body. I sweat so bad some nights that one night when my daughter crawled in our bed in the middle of the night and asked, “mommy did you have a accident (she means wet the bed)?” Haha of course I didn’t, I was hot and sweaty. I have to wash my sheets more frequently that normal. My husband loves this bed, but even he ends up throwing the sheets off him at night. Almost every day I threatened to return the mattress but I honestly don’t want to. I just wished it was much cooler than it is. I’m not sure how we will make it through summer; surly I will have to return it then. I hate sleeping hot!

Doesn’t feel the same as our first Nectar

I’m not sure if materials were changed in the past year OR if they take awhile to break in but I don’t remember our first Nectar being so hard. This one is still off gassing 8 days after we took it out of the plastic too. The website says a few days and then it’s gone. The smell is so strong still, we unmake the bed (including mattress cover) and open all the windows every morning and leave it that way until bedtime. Hoping over time the mattress gets as soft as our original and I assume the gassing will end eventually. If this is a common/normal issue I suggest Nectar waits awhile before sending out their survey.

The mattress wasn’t as thick

The mattress wasn’t as thick as I expected.
I was told I was getting a new upgraded mattress, since I waited so long to get it.
My son has a nectar mattress that is thicker than mine. Other than that I’m happy with it
