Be careful opening the door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great.. no problems, but be careful when closing the wide door. Sometimes my finger touches the outside of the door and turns on the vent. The outside controls should have been a little higher up. They are in the right lower corner where you open the door.

Defective microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is defective. It consistently fails with the error code F7E9. Although service has identified the problem, even after a month, whirlpool has not been able to deliver the repair parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Weird unsecured panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the microwave well enough, but a plastic panel above the keypad wasn’t secure and fell off onto the stove a few days after installation. Can’t figure out how to reattach it. Other than that, seems to work fine.

Nice features. 2 wks after install started rusting

The concerning issue Is two weeks after installation rust began to show along the vent cover and front of the microwave. That’s very disheartening for a brand new appliance. I only use recommended cleaning products. I did have a technician come out and it is being addressed through the warranty. I don’t feel that this should be an issue for a brand new appliance. Because it is so new parts are not available and I need to wait for them to be manufactured. At least that’s what I was told by the technician. I tried to add photos, but the link isn’t working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
