Having an air conditioner that allows me to not only see out the window but also open it and allow fresh air to come in is amazing.

As someone who has only 1 window in their bedroom this air conditioner is a lifesaver. I was looking at ones that would allow you to open the window while installed. Most hang under the window but then I came across this one. It allows you to easily open the window and let cool air in. I bought a portable window screen, so I didn't get any bugs while it's open and it's great. Super easy to install, took me maybe an hour to get it all setup. I wasn't expecting it to be super quiet, I'm used to old fashioned single stage compressor air conditioners, but this new inverter based one is insanely quiet. No loud noise as it kicks on, instead it's a slow ramp up over 15-20 seconds. Honestly the best AC I've gotten ever. Plan to replace my other 2 window units with this one once they die out.
