Great for Multiple Computers

Nice keyboard for what I need it to do. I use computers for work and home and this allows me to connect both, and my laptop to the keyboard.
The buttons are soft and quiet.

A Perfect Addition to my WFH set-up

I love the look and feel of the keyboard with the backlit keys and the look and feel of silver metal. Typing is much better and feels more realistic than my laptop’s keyboard or other wireless keyboards.

Solid and works anywhere

Overall, the ability to function on a lot of types of surfaces makes it very versatile. They weight gives it a solid feel. My only complaint would be the size. If it was a little bigger it would fit the entire palm of my hand and not using my fingers to move it.

simply the best keyboard on the market

I've been a professional writer for ten years, writing a million words a year. I've tried 5 keyboards in that time and MX Keys is the best keyboard I've ever used. Dead quiet, flawless design, great speed, quality/build, battery life and reliability. It's so much better than anything on the market.

Not a good replacement for the K740

The unit was sturdy, but the layout seemed cramped for my large hands, and I wanted more key action and a bit more sound feedback. I returned the MX Keys and purchased a used Logitech K740 instead.
I can see why so many people wish Logitech would offer the K740 again.

This keyboard is wonderful. It's easy to switch between computers with the click of a button. The quality and look are fantastic. The battery life is really good. I would definitely recommend.

Nice upgrade, but not required

I have the original MX Keys, and I didn't strickly speaking NEED the MX Keys S. However, I was intrigued by the additional features, like the backlighting upgrades. If you are interested, you will not be disappointed. If you have the original and you do not need the additional features. I will say that you are not missing anything. That is a compliment - this one feels and acts much like the original keyboard in many ways!
The weight is nearly the same, judging by the way it feels in my backpack. YouTubers can put it on a scale and compare with more exact numbers, if you are interested. The battery life is really good, which is a feature I depend on. I take mine to work for 12-hour shifts, so the battery-saving backlight feature was a must for me.
As for changes, I believe the MX Keys S is a little bit quieter than the original. Since I am in an open office environment, the noise actually matters to me. I prefer the clicky feel of the Logitech G 915 Lightspeed, but that was super loud in the office. The MX Keys S isn't clicky - but after the initial use when you first notice that, it goes away quickly. The feel is very nice.
I chose the white one (the packaging says gray) and the matching MX Master 3s mouse, because I liked the look of it. If you are in a bright environment, this can actually make it hard to read the key labels. If you are a touch typist, this might be an issue. Otherwise, this is a nice change to the standard dark blacks and gray tones that we are used to.

One thing is to notice, at some point keyboard light doesn’t go back on. Wonder if that’s a sleeping feature or a bug. Normally the backlight goes on when hands are over the keys. But at some point this is not yhe case anymore.
