Very nice looking phone. Easy to operate. Everything was great until I tried to put a protective case on it. Couldn’t hear the external speakers at max. While in a phone call I couldn’t hear the person speaking thru the phone. I turn the volume to max. Still muffled. Use speakerphone, vol max, stil muffled and now distorted. That’s a huge design flaw for me. And the case I bought was specific to that phone. Also, every notification was the same tone even tho I had specifics set. And for some reason on this phone certain apps sent me notifications EVERY MINUTE! And all the same ringtone as everything else. And I literally mean every minute. My phone even notified me every minute at the top of the minute what the weather was and felt like and the currrent time. For no reason. So needless to say I returned it I̳M̳M̳E̳D̳I̳A̳T̳E̳L̳Y̳, had it less than a week. And I didn’t activate and set it up the phone until the case arrived! So I used it for less than 12 hours. I left work early to get rid of that incessant thing.
Can't tell a whole lot of difference between my old A51 5g and my new phone. I don't miss the headphone jack because I use wireless buds. If you need a jack then you could get a "C" to "headphone female" adapter. This phone is a little bit faster and snappier. Better photos, as well. Also, a bit louder than the A51. I loved my A 51 for the three years that I used it. I think I will like the A54 even better after three years. These "A" series phones are a real solid choice. Great bang for your buck.
