However, it is important to note that while this filter provides effective filtration for many substances, it is not specifically certified to remove PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), including toxic chemicals like Teflon, from drinking water.

If you're concerned about PFAS contamination, we recommend looking for a filter that is specifically tested and certified to remove PFAS. There are some reverse osmosis systems or filters with specialized media that are designed for PFAS removal.
