Would Not Pair

Device would not pair with IPad Pro 4. Not paired with another device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you are struggling to pair the keyboard with your iPad Pro 4. Can you please turn off both the iPad and the Keyboard wait a few moments then turn on first the iPad then the keyboard. Once on and Bluetooth is verified to be turned on the iPad please press teh FN key and the C key on the keyboard. A code may flash on the screen, if it does quickly enter it in the keyboard and hit enter. It should now be paired to the iPad. You can test in a email or other application. A customer support representative will be reaching out to assist you or you may contact us at 877-482-7487 Monday thru Friday 10 AM to 7 PM EST.

Highly recommend this unit

This is the SECOND one I’ve purchased. The first one failed after 6 months. The WEAK LINK is the two tabs at the bottom of the unit that hold the unit together. This is still the best design for an iPad. I have purchased others and they don’t work. This design does.

Saw reviews for similar less-expensive keyboard covers that complained about being cheaply made, flimsy, and too lightweight to hold the ipad without tipping over. Not the Targus. This product is strong and solid and you can position the ipad at angles without any worry of it tipping over. It costs more, but is definitely worthy it…you’ll be glad you did.

Funciona y se ajusta perfectamente en IPad Pro de 6ta generación. Lo único que no me gustó es que se dejan muchas huellas en su superficie.

Pretty good case protection wise. But the material does not handle fingers prints well they show very easy all over.

We are glad that other than a finger print issue the VersaType is working out well for you. For fingerprints I would suggest a DAMP cloth and a tiny bit of mild soap to wipe the outside of the case. I mostly like this and want to give it a 5. I didn’t because the two tiny dials at the bottom that help hold the tablet feel flimsy. One was chipped when it arrived. It’s a bit bulky to use as just a tablet with the keyboard closed. I am concerned how it will hold up down the road. All that said, it’s otherwise great. I love the feel of the keyboard and it does feel like a decent replacement for a laptop.

I’m liking this case more and more. I was surprised at its quality and it’s turned out to be much more durable than first expected. I had tried other off-brand versions of this before finding this one. The finish is very nice and in-line with what you’d expect from an Apple branded product.
