Top quality,affordable and easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually purchase an LG or Samsung. Now I tried TCL Tv.TV was packaged very well and came out of the box with easy. Note this is a 2 person install for sure. Build quality is superb. TV looks beautiful and easy to adjust all the settings to fit your style. Decent enough motion and upscaling, and brighter than the sun! The TCL QM8 picture quality is amazing. + you don’t even need a sound bar it have a built-in subwoofer. The volume can get very loud without distortion and also the menu and system apps are snappy.I just set the auto settings and they work great. This 4K television has unmatched clarity; contrast, black levels, color purity, and overall performance. Love how the TV dynamically adjusts to the room lighting. Highly recommend.

Amazing! But . . .

I purchased the 65 in QM8. Absolutely gorgeous TV. From top to bottom everything is beautiful. The brightness, the color, motion handling, black levels and local dimming are outstanding. Google TV runs better on this TV than it did on my Chromecast. This TV outperforms many other much more expensive sets from well known brands and is the closest LED I've seen to matching OLED performance.
There is one BIG issue though. When watching Dolby Vision content, the brightness shifts up and down automatically and noticeably from scene to scene with no options to turn it off. The TV will lock you down to a few different presets in Dolby vision but none fix the brightness shifting. It also will not allow changing of brightness settings while watching watching Dolby vision. It is very distracting. Some scenes get too dark and the next scene will be too bright and washed out. I hope that TCL can fix this in an update soon because it truly is a great TV but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motion, color, gaming and picture clarity all from a Mini-LED (I believe a QLED) can stand toe to toe with OLEDs. For those looking to purchase this set I have to say that you would be pleased with your purchase. 4K, VRR, ALLM, 120hz with all the apps and connectivity you could ask for.

The image is so clear, when you play a 4k qled video from YouTube it feels like you are in the scene yourself. I have exterior speakers but the ones on the set are actually really good quality. It was fairly easy to "learn" the TV and where the various inputs and apps were. I would highly recommend this set if you are in the market for a new televisions

Crisp color and sharp picture. Is very easy to use with the intuitive Google Tv interface. There is no need of a smart box. The tv is fast and responsive. It also supports HomeKit and AirPlay. This tv is also perfect for gaming.
