I like the versatility of this device, it is slim and light weights for my needs. Also good deal with i purchased it it was fast. But I have minor payment with stylus even it is fully charged it lagged the sensibility, I have to point several times before it connect.
Overall I'm happy with it but It's not as fast as I'd hope. For photography purposes, it loads my higher resolution photos slow. The screen is very clear and vivid. There's not really an edge to the screen so when you pick it up like a tablet it will respond to where your fingers touch so I find it closing tabs or programs because the X is on the corner, especially when it auto rotates. That or you are suddenly scrolling really far or openning up right click options just by grabbing it. There seems to be glitch when switching back and forth with my mouse cursor and using the touchscreen feature that makes it hard to click on specific things within the browser the is just slight off by 1/4 inch, happens constantly. The ram has great response, I can open a lot of programs with minimal lag. The speakers are fantastic and provide great sound. The stylist is something I haven't played with yet but seems to work as expected. So far I've had it for 2 months and travel with it with no issues. It's light, powerful and feels well made. The touch mouse on the keyboard makes a louder click than I prefer and that might be the only part I don't like about the feel of it, feels cheap. The color and finish on it looks very modern and durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly use this great piece of hardware for work, but the intel on this laptop is incredible. I have worked on Apple computer products, and I can safely say, the Yoga 9i (14” Intel) offers a wider range of components that go into having a successful work output.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Yoga 9i for 3 weeks now and it is nothing short of Amazing. Lenovo really took a huge step up with this one. Very sleek and stylish, super fast, long battery life, no bloatware, light weight - and the list goes on and on. I am using it plugged into a Targus docking station I have through the USB-A port; driving two external monitors. Came up and ran without a hiccup. Flipping it over is the closest experience one can have to a tablet with this light-weight laptop. Really good for reading a book while relaxed in a chair. The discounting over the Thanksgiving Holiday was very attractive and I go the laptop in my hands in like 5 days. This Yoga 9i replaced a Lenovo Flex 5 laptop that I tolerated for the last 5 years. I am happy to see Lenovo taking a huge stride forward with the design and the speed of the Yoga. I almost didn't give Lenovo a second chance because of the horrible performance I had with the Flex 5, but now I am happy I did!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has a nice feel and great screen display and clarity. The keys on the keyboard are taking some getting used to but the touchpad is the biggest issue I have. It is so frustrating to deal with! One minute it works, then it doesnt, or it is too sensitive and your whole screen minimizes when scrolling. Just a big pain in the you know what! The other thing is the pen tool...it is about half useless when touching the screen to select anything. Sometimes it works, then doesnt work or works if you touch what you want but not directly on what you want (maybe a little bit beside or below what you want) if that makes sense. I dont like the tablet mode and when it is in that mode it is just awkward to hold touching (pressing) the keyboard keys on the other side.
