[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Yoga - so far it is as expected and I'm pleased with the purchase. I like the more substantial stylus and the sleeve that it came with - the touchscreen and ability to write on it are a big part of why I like this 2-in-1.
My only complaint thus far is the touchpad. I find it to be overly sensitive (even when I adjust the Windows settings) and I find that I can't reliably work without an external mouse. This is normally not an issue because most of the time I'm at my desk where I have a mouse. But when I was traveling last week, it made it challenging to work in an airport just using the touchpad as my mouse. I eventually had to disable certain features to make it easier to use.
Other than that, I like this! battery life seems pretty good and the screen is excellent. No other complaints besides the touchpad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, a beautiful, well-designed laptop that pairs keen attention to detail with performance.
Points of excellence: ample port selection; durability of hinge; responsive touch-screen; accurate trackpad; quality webcam/microphone and speakers; and the device's variety of creature comforts (i.e. shutter for camera, finger print sensor).
Battery life is fair (average of 9hrs on power saver mode). The keyboard feels a tad mushier than previous generations, although the added hotkeys were well-implemented and did not impair my typing ability even if I might consider them to be superfluous. Note that the laptop's finish is quite conducive to fingerprint marks.
My only concern with the laptop is system memory (RAM) and power usage when the computer is idle, though I believe these are mainly Windows software issues and have little to do with the superb hardware Lenovo delivers with this generation of the Yoga 9i.
