[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many hours of research, decided to purchase the Yoga 9i Gen 7 Intel 14". So far, well pleased with the laptop. Was looking for the latest generation chip with OLED screen, got both with a competitive price and First Responder discount. Opted for extended warranty and the dongle from Lenovo to provide USB and HDMI connections. For new technology, like the facial recognition security and the blurred backround when using the built in camera. Had an old school 17" screen, but the new 14" screen does just as well with its sleek bezels. This laptop is amazingly fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this laptop in every way possible except that it's fragile. I bearly hit my desk table with the speaker of the laptop and it bended and scratched that area where it was touched. If it wasn't for that I would have rated the laptop 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first personal laptop after moving to US. It was pretty special and what could be more special than getting it from the pioneer themselves. We were in search for a laptop that could assist in the basic routine tasks as well as looking for something with latest features like SSD, touchscreen, stylus and a powerful processor and high speed RAM. We must say our conquest ended with the award winning best laptop of the year - Lenovo Yoga 9i.
The purchase and delivery process was seamless, and getting it on a deal, we can't ask beyond that. Packaging was neat and compact, the look and feel of the laptop is pure luxury, initial setup could be done in a jiffy and using the laptop has been a wonderful experience. We tested every feature and it works flawless.
The laptop comes with a 30 day free trial for Antivirus software and Windows OS. Providing MS Office could have been a value addition.
The customer support has been very friendly and assists with clarity for all our questions. Overall, a satisfying purchase.
Ease of use to even a 2 year old kid touching the screen and navigating to use the laptops.
Difficult to find such highend configuration in any competitors brand at reasonable price.

Bad: the trackpad is too large and the palm of right hand constantly brushes up against it causing the cursor to click elsewhere and mess up my typing (very annoying), also the fan kicks in with just 10 browser tabs open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unfortunately, staring at a black screen for 2-5 minutes while the device continually resets and fails to boot is a major problem. You can attempt various fixes (look this problem up) but there is no guarantee they will fix the problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop excels at what it is made to do. It is a media powerhouse with a gorgeous screen and snappy blacks. It is a tablet, a heavy one, but a good one. It is also a good business machine, as that's what I mostly use it for. It's a good laptop that can handle many things and does them all exceptionally.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was finally time to replace my old Thinkpad, and this Yoga seemed a good choice. My needs are a combination of software development, CAD, and of course entertainment. The CAD and Software dev is what drove me to the UHD OLED screen, since I need a lot of resolution, and it has not disappointed. The computer is fast, the display is vivid and sharp, and the battery life is good.
If I have to be picky, the one thing I don't like is that it charges via USB-C, which is fine, but there are 3 USB-C jacks and only one will charge the computer. While they are technically marked, the printing is almost impossible to see without light hitting at exactly the right angle. I fixed the problem with a sharpie marker, but that's a lousy solution. Also, the manual does not say if anything bad will happen if you plug the charger into the incorrect jack. I'm not willing to find out!
