Somewhat misleading

I purchased this monitor expecting no problems with my laptop, but I have seen that the HDR is terrible, and it does not reach the advertised frame rate of 165hz. Works great otherwise but I would have of spent the extra money for a monitor with the capability of 165hz. Might return after a bit of use. I also do not believe that this is a led model due to what I believe is visible backlight bleed.

My husband purchased this monitor for me for Christmas and I couldn't be happier with it, the graphics are incredible and the picture is so clear! I am happy to say that there is no glare from sunlight what so ever, I was using a TV for a monitor before getting this one and when the sun came up, I couldn't see anything, but this monitor never has any glare. I love that it has so many options for the graphics, my old TV only had 720p but this one can be set to anything between 500 and 2160, I just love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, but doesn't have a C-type connection!

I really like the screen and the lights in the back and in the front. I love the 180 degree rotation too. However it's really a bummer that doesn't have a C-type port for connecting to my laptop. My laptop doesn't have an HDMI port and also HDMI cannot charge the laptop while connected, so I find it really frustrating that a new monitor that is so expensive would not have a C-type connection!

Best Budget Gaming Monitor in its class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor after using the older G5 28” curved for a couple years and I love them both. You get a great picture, menu and variable refresh rate for an affordable price. This monitor communicates well with next gen gaming systems and has user profiles for different settings. When the screen goes full black there are some cloudy backlit areas, but nothing serious enough to interfere with any sort of media. Don’t overthink if you’re considering this monitor, it does the job well.

I have had this monitor for about 3 months. The Samsung G65B is a great monitor. All specs say it peaks at 2560x1440, but I have it in 5120x2160 still operating at 240 Hz (over HDMI). I do not see "Scan Lines" which some have claimed to see. HDR is finicky, I recommend using HDR option on your PC instead. I love how I can raise, lower, tilt, and rotate without hassle.
The Workspace and Game feature are nice too in certain circumstances and situations. USB Passthrough is fantastic, it adds 2 more USB inputs to the PC to help with A.) Cable Management, and B.) More Inputs whether it is Steering Wheel and Pedals, Mouse and Keyboard, or External Drives. This feature is one of my favorites, and one I did not know right away.
I wish we could have curved Glass, and I would pay the premium, but even the use of this transparent polycarbon provides a very crisp and clear picture. I couldn't be happier.
