Broiler not what I expected

I love my new gas stove however it wasn’t until recently when I wanted to broil some steaks that I discovered something amiss. The broiler isn’t gas. There is an electric element at the top instead. Seems strange that they would put an electric element inside a gas stove. This is the 3rd gas stove I’ve owned and was not expecting that. My bad for not fully reading all of the fine print about the appliance. Had I known I would have spent the extra money on an upgraded model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid Range

Multiple options for burners and the flames are quite strong. The oven heats up very quickly and cooks pretty evenly through. No hot spots. For the price, good unit.
