Finally a flat top that we can live with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recent purchase has given us faith in electric ranges again. Previous range was base model included in pre-owned home purchase...with coils on top and little to no temperature control when cooking. The new range has excellent burner control and a true flat surface. The rings wfor where to put the pots were not painted on top of the glass, but imbedded in the top with fewer change to ruin the finish. Tickled with this new edition to our kitchen.

Good oven but some annoying features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the oven for a month now. It works fine and the oven temperature is accurate.
The burners work fine too. I bought the oven for the reliability reviews so far so good. Now the very annoying parts. The timer beep and alert beeps are very quiet. You can barely hear it when the time is reached. There is no way to adjust the volume to make it louder. If you're in another room you won't hear it go off at all. Which leads to the most annoying part. The control panel is so so so sensitive that if you accidently lean any part of your body against it and even just lightly touch it it will shut the whole oven off in the middle of baking. That happens all the time if you are stove top cooking and oven baking at the same time and you happen to just lightly brush the control panel. You have to be be extremely conscious of not touching the control panel at all. You cannot lock the control panel while baking so as to prevent that. You can only lock it when you are not baking. And furthermore since the beeps are so soft sometimes you have no idea the oven was turned off while baking something. This has happened numerous times in the last month and have ruined a couple of meals. Now we are paranoid to even get near the control panel while baking. It's a very big and annoying issue especially if you have kids or guest over and they accidentally touch the control panel without anyone knowing only to check the oven a half hour later and find out it's been off for a while and nobody knew and now the baking is either ruined or has to be baked again. Other than that the oven works fine but in my estimation the drawbacks with sensitive control panel is too annoying for the average person. When I bought this it was between this and the GE equivalent. We opted for this from the reviews but if I had it all over to do again I would not buy this for the reasons stated above.

Love My Range
