[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ok, the timer setter is VERY sensitive, You have to press the up button one time for every minute you want to set it for, or else you'll end up setting the timer for hours instead of minutes. The LED settings are super sensitive! I have cupboards above the stove, and I always hit the buttons with my tummy. It stunk to high heaven when I first used it. I've never had a brand-new oven before and was shocked at the odor. LOL! It is a beautiful oven and I love how the burners are select-a-size when cooking.

Electronic issue out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The day my stove was delivered everything seemed fine, except I was not able to set the clock. The settings button didn’t work at all. I pushed it multiple times. My mom pushed it multiple times and I almost thought that it wasn’t a button at first because the stove was new. I actually had to YouTube to figure out that the settings button must not be working. I decided on a Friday night to contact Frigidaire on the following Monday but over the weekend the button started to work. I am greatly surprised that there is an electrical or software issue on a stove right out of the box. I am glad that I did not have to contact frigidaire immediately but concerned I may have to contact them later.
The stove has worked great, except one of the burners turned on without anyone’s knowledge. It must have been bumped. It shouldn’t be that easy to turn a knob by bumping into it, especially when the knobs are on the front and if you have small kids in the house. If I wasn’t home, I would’ve burned the house down. Since then, I have taken the knobs off and stored them in the drawer until I have to use them.

It’s definitely surprising (and frustrating) to encounter a non-responsive settings button right out of the box, even if it did eventually start working. Electronic components should be reliable from day one, and intermittent functionality can understandably raise concerns about long-term reliability.
More seriously, your point about the front knobs is an important safety issue. Burners that can turn on too easily—especially in households with children—pose a significant risk. While removing the knobs is a smart temporary solution, it shouldn’t be necessary for basic safety. It might be worth checking whether your model has optional child safety features or if knob covers are available that can help prevent accidental ignition.
It’s good to hear that the stove is otherwise working well, but your experience highlights some important areas where both product design and quality control could be improved. Thank you for bringing attention to these issues—it’s feedback like this that can push manufacturers to do better.
