Flat stovetop difficult to clean thoroughly

For the most part, the range is good. Nothing spectacular. It works as expected. What I find irritating is trying to keep the stovetop clean. The glass top sits under an outer ridge and when wiping the stovetop, crumbs and whatnot get under this outer ridge. Over time, this will get nasty and I’m already wondering how I might be able to clean this thoroughly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big improvement for me

I'm enjoying my new range and am very happy with my choice. It is so much more efficient than my last which was only 3 years old but from the start leaked heat through the seals. My Frigidaire does not do this, plus the elements heat up quickly. The oven also preheated much faster. I could suggest that the manual be updated to show the correct icon on the controls. In the book, it is a CLOCK but it is actually now a LOCK. This is not a big deal since it is a pretty obvious function.

Good stove

I bought this stove a month ago. So far so good. Cooks well. I have no issue with the safety of the front dials and the cook top is hard to keep clean but no different then all the others. The oven is a bit bigger and I can fit cookie sheets length wise.
I would recommend this to a friend!
