Giving 4 stars and would have given 5 stars but I am not happy with the oven noise that is constant when baking and when the oven is off which could last up to an hour (cooling off oven heat). I was not made aware of the noise issue by the online information or by the salesperson. A disappointment for the noise issue.

Absolutely destroys my old Maytag!

I moved into a house with a Maytag range that was 5 years old. The range did okay, but never seemed quite right. It took forever for water to boil in the range and the oven to come to temperature. We got used to it and did okay until it stopped maintaining oven temperature - the usual 30min to bake bread turned into 3hr!
Also, my biggest problem with the Maytag was that it had heat vents on the front of the door, near the handle. This is dangerous by itself, but especially so for my 2 year old, who got burned a couple times. Lastly, the oven door was always too easy to pull open, which is another danger for my 2 year old.
From that experience, we love the new Frigidaire! No front vent, the door doesn't come open too easily, it hears fast and stays at temperature! As a bonus, the height fits our countertop perfectly and it looks very sleek without the back control panel.

Best Electric Range

And having a place to keep food warm under the oven and on top of the stove is wonderful. Best purchase I have made this year.

Perfect!! The top is large, the buttons are on the front so they don't take up space on the front. I love the oven! I didn't realize how bad I needed a stove until I cooked in this oven. I am pleased with my selection. And the value I got from it.
