I Had To Replace 3 5,000 BTU

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the only reason i've given this review 5 stars is the fact that Frigidaire Support team is pretty great, the 1st (5,000 BTU Window-Mounted Room Air Conditioner) i got went out after 1 1/1 years of use, the 2nd one i own is working great

not as good as old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you had a 5000 btu before, you will want to buy atleast a 6000 or 8000 btu for the same space . The new 5000 don't cool as good.

We are terribly sorry to hear that your air conditioner is not cooling as well as you prefer. Here are a few tips that may help! If the room temperature is below 62°F (17°C), cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 62°F (17°C). The temperature sensing element may be touching a cold coil, located behind an air filter. Straighten away from the coil. Reset to a lower temperature. The compressor shuts off by changing modes. Wait approximately 3 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode. If needed, we are here to help!
