Good for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good for the price. Does a good job keeping my room at a comfortable temperature and isn't too noisy. I do think the energy saver mode is a bit too conservative and isn't very effective, so I end up using the regular cool mode more than I expected to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed Easily for a small room. A bit noisy in hi fan mode. Not sure how accurate the energy saver mode is. Seem to take too much time to take a reading on room temperature during very hot humid days. Room gets warm fast.

Tmanmade, I am thrilled that you found the room air conditioner easy to install! It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. If improperly installed, even a high quality, low-noise unit can rattle mercilessly. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. Does your home have insulated walls and ceiling/attic? If not, this can account for the environment being hotter as the cool air has no place to “stay” and escapes the home quickly. Not easy to install old unit replaced

Was working good for 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved this Ac it was so cold I had to turn it off. Now 2 months later doesn't wanna cool during the day. A hot day of a 106 weather didn't cool at all. Seems to be working fine at night that's it.

Fills the need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit to provide AC to a small bedroom. Installed easily and has a nice insulating feature for the slide outs to fill the window opening. Run it a lot on energy saver and it adequately cools the room.

Great A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a couple of these units for my kids' rooms since they're soft and are always complaining it's too hot. They installed easily and work well. After a month of use, the kids haven't complained yet so I take it they're doing their job (the A/C units, not the kids). As far as electricity usage, my bill hardly went up so I think they're pretty efficient. I highly recommend this unit. Maybe I should get one for myself....
