It’s just ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn’t really get cold at all. My 10 year old ac gets way colder than this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seanirishi, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us regarding your AC concerns. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. Ensure that all windows and curtains are closed to reduce the amount of heat that enters the environment. It is also best if you have ceiling fans or additional AC units running at the same time to help cool the environment together –and not rely on just one unit.

Excellent for its size!

We also love the fact that it has a remote and a timer... no more getting up to shut it off during the hot summer nights. It’s also easy to install! We are definitely putting this one into our bedroom next year.

My son is waiting for a heart transplant and he now has a pump in his heart and has to carry around s small machine and batteries on his body. He was cool all summer. We would not go with any other, than fridgidare.
