A Truly Great Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Frigidaire FFRE0533S1 air conditioner a couple of months ago after suffering from the summer heat. It was a great relief to have this machine functioning: its performance is excellent in every way, in terms of cooling and directing the cool air around the room. The installation was easy, with very clear directions, and the fitting of its frame and body parts is really impressive engineering. The price was modest considering the high quality of the machine. I recommend it to all my friends.

Please don't tell me to tilt it.

Had this unit for a month. I can hear water slushing around every time I turn it on. I looked on the outside and there is water pooled in several places. Tilting has no impact because there is nowhere for the water to go once tilted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey, I would recommend having your air conditioner installed in accordance with your installation guide. Proper tilting of your air conditioner will assist with the water accumulation inside your air conditioner. If you see you are in an area with high humidity I would recommend the use of a dehumidifier. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

Summer Savior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Until global warming is addressed, all i know this summer is mad hot. This Frigidaire AC was perfect for my room. It's small & compact and cools & eliminates the NYC humidity and I only use the low energy efficient setting.
