Overall great baby rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby rocker from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. To protect my baby I’ve included a picture with their face covered but they were awake in the picture. Overall it’s a good rocker.
Pros: It is a great place to set a baby while they’re awake when you need a few hands free moments. I will say that I especially like the size of it since most other rockers tend to take up a lot of space, this rocker wasn’t as bulky to have out or to store. There’s 5 different rocking speeds but I most often used the lowest 2. Any of the higher speeds were almost too much for my 2-3 month old. I think I was blessed this time around with a very mild tempered baby so I can’t speak too much to the rockers ability to soothe a fussy baby. But I do think that the motion of the rocker would’ve done the job had I needed it to.
Cons: The buckles were a little tight and hard to undo at first so when I would go to take my baby out of the rocker to transfer to the crib, they easily were woken up by me struggling to undo the buckles. Although easy to set up, the take down to store the rocker is a bit trickier. It was quite difficult to push the pin in to release and take apart the frame of the rocker, but if you use a small screw driver and another person to help you then it came apart much more easily. I do wish that the mobile part rotated on its own, I think that’s in an upgraded model but because it doesn’t spin on its own I found the whole mobile piece more of a nuisance and a temptation for my toddlers to play with rather than useful or helpful for my baby.

Baby is happy and my hands are free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 4moms RockaRoo Baby Rocker! It gives me a great and safe place to put down my baby so I can have a free moment to do just about anything.
I started using this rocker when when my baby was 1 week old, and found that he was happy sitting in the RockaRoo. For newborns, I would recommend buying an insert as it helped my little one sit more comfortably inside. Now that baby is a month old, he sits in the rocker more often and enjoys relaxing there and watching the cute black and white mobile. I imagine that as he grows, baby boy will keep spending more time in his pretty RockaRoo!
Personally, I love the fact that baby boy happily sits in this rocker and frees me to cook, clean, shower, you name it! Plus, I really like the small footprint and how pretty this rocker looks. I did have a swing from another brand with my first baby and the footprint was HUGE, with the swinging coming from the top. With the RockaRoo, I can just include this rocker in our sitting area and it looks beautiful.
This rocker was super easy to put together, and I could easily slip the cover off to wash it. Overall, I definitely recommend it- it keeps my house looking nice and my baby happy, so that makes me happy too! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby rocker.

Portable yet functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of five, I have tried many different rockers and swings for my babies. I love how the 4moms rockaroo is so easy to move around from room to room. It also looks very minimalistic, and doesn’t have any obnoxious noises. It’s a great place to put the baby while I am homeschooling my other kids, and even though it’s portable, it still feels sturdy. I also love that the seat is washable. The dial at the base means I can adjust the speed with my foot easily. The only thing I don’t like about this rocker is that it is not very smooth. Even in the lowest setting, it hits the back of the base and kind of jerks the baby (as if you were in a rocking chair going too hard). I received this product as apart of the stellar product testing panel.

Great product but baby just does not love it

Aesthetically it's much more attractive than our previous swing. It's smaller and has more muted colors. As a mom of a baby that spits up a lot, I love the easily removable seat material to wash and easy to wipe clean.
While it is small enough to move from room to room, I preferred to just leave the swing in 1 spot. It's kinda awkward to carry like most swings.
My baby really liked the mobile, but she wasn't happy in this swing. Maybe it just wasn't as comfortable as her other swing... not sure what the reason was.
Overall, I think it's worth giving a shot.

Compact but lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rocker is stylish and compact, very cool and modern looking. Unfortunately for us, baby doesn't love it. It's more of a glider than a rocker and I find that the highest speed is honestly pretty slow. I'm able to put baby down in it for a quick bathroom break but she won't tolerate it for more than 5 minutes. Ours also has a very slight grinding sound, it's not bothersome at all but I worry it may give out soon. I received this baby rocker from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

A must have for every new baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that I had tried everything to make my little guy happy and just gave up with the idea of ever getting anything done. I have a stage 4 clinger who just refuses to be put down. We have tried three different swings (one traditional, one which sways sideways, and one with various motions) and 4 different bouncers. By the time the buckle was snapped in any of those my little guy was crying. Stellar Product Testing Panel gave me the opportunity to try the Rockaroo. I was hesitant that it would work but any desperate parent is willing to try anything. Well I couldn’t be more grateful! This is the ONLY product which my son enjoys. It has now been about three weeks and he still loves it.
The rocking motion has five speeds on a dial. Whatever speed you choose is remembered when you turn it on because the power button is a separate push button in the dial. All I need to do is tap and the swing is under way.
The toys have two different sides depending on your child’s cognitive level. A black and white side for contrast (one with a mirror) and then a side with more abstract patterns. My son loves looking at the overhead mobile. It occupies him when his siblings aren’t in the room commanding his attention.
The bonus is how compact it is. Our house is not large and we have just one living room for all 9 of us. This swing just tucks right in the corner and is not an eye sore at all. In fact, the gray is a compliment to our furniture.
Another ingenious feature is the buckle. It tucks behind the belly pad so my son’s hands don’t mess with it and more importantly, his older sister can’t easily get to it to unbuckle it on him.
The weight limit is to 20 pounds and my 4 month old, who is in the 98th percentile, fits so comfortably in this swing and still had plenty of room before he outgrows it.
Without this swing we would have a messy house, dirty clothes, and no dinner. I just move this swing around the house as needed. This is currently my absolute favorite baby product for my little guy. I am so thankful that I gave it a try.

Great Rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this RockaRoo from 4moms. It is lightweight, easy to use and most importantly- baby enjoys it! I love the neutral color scheme. The dark grayish brown seat with the neutral toned mobile is gorgeous. I take it from room to room some days without any difficulty. The seat is fairly deep which I’m hoping means it’ll last us months and months! It’s always nice to get some safe hands-free time from baby. I really love that you can (carefully) use your foot to turn the rocker on and off. 4Moms knows how busy us moms are, you can tell by their product designs! The only “con” I could find is that it does seem to rock a little too hard/fast sometimes, even on the lowest setting. I am not sure I’d feel comfortable putting a newborn in this seat but my two month old does very well in it. That is why I gave it four stars over five. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting us this seat!

Great compact rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. My little guy really enjoys the rocker! Upon recovering the rocker, I wasn’t sure he would be entertained by the mobile as it’s pretty plain and doesn’t move itself- he ended up absolutely loving it! It’s not the typical swing controlled by an arm at the top, the rocker is controlled at the base for a true rocking motion.
My favorite feature is how compact the rocker is! I was able to move it from room to room while I completed different tasks. It was super convenient when my husband wasn’t home and I needed to pump or get cleaning done!
The only con to the rocker is that the balls on the mobile do fall out while moving it around from room to room. I would definitely recommend this rocker to anyone who wanted a great product with a small space to work with!
