Wish I had this sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rockaroo is a lifesaver! My baby boy absolutely loves it. When he’s fussy, this is literally the only thing that calms him. I don’t know if it’s the motions, the toys, or the soothing swishing sound of the base, but whatever it is… it works! I love how compact it is compared to others I’ve owned. In fact, we often take it with us if we’re going to family or friends for the day. The rocking motion is very smooth and doesn’t jerk or bang. Toys are adorable, and I really love the removable- washable fabric. Do yourself a favor and get a Rockaroo! I wish I’d owned this with my other two children. It’s amazing! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing rocker! My husband and I are incredibly grateful.

Adequate but limited functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the generosity of the stellar product testing panel, I was gifted this swing at no cost to me. First, I will mention that I also own the larger, more comprehensive swing model from this brand. This is now my fifth child, and have tried out many swings. The footprint on this one is noticeably smaller than others, but it is very limited in its functionality. It is strictly just a back-and-forth scooter, with no other bells, or whistles. It is small and has mobility from room to room, but if you need something that will adjust and vary your child’s soothing preferences a bit, this is likely not for you. I am grateful to use it when needed but find myself gravitating to other swings we own instead. It is comfortable enough for my daughter but she seems to get bored with it quickly and starts crying. I also am not crazy about the color/material as I feel it doesn’t breathe well and shows spit up stains.

Solid Basic Rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that Stellar Panel gave us a chance to try out this rocker! I had really high hopes because I've heard such amazing things about 4moms but never had one for my own kids. This is a great rocker if you are short on space, the footprint really is amazingly small for its capabilities. I wouldn't say that it's super easy to move from room to room because it's a little awkward to carry, but it is far more portable than most other swings on the market. This makes it perfect if I need to go from having a minute hands free to get ready in the bathroom and then a few more to finish up some work at my desk.
Even though it's not right for sleep, it's great when I just need a few spare moments. The mobile, with it's black and white and mirrors, really does keep her entertained. It's probably my favorite feature! Though I do wish the mobile moved electronically or that it played a few different placating sounds. Another bummer is that with the bright blue on/off switch down very low to the ground, it's almost impossible to keep my older kids from messing with it.
For a rocker of this caliber, I expected more features, such as variety in direction, and was disappointed that it did not come with a soft infant insert. However, I understand why its made of durable, easy to wipe materials. Another issue I had was the sections of the mobile kept popping out. I think I would have preferred them to be permanently attached. Of all the many rockers and swings I've tried, I wouldn't put this at the top of the list, even though I was impressed with it's small footprint and interactive mobile. Thanks again, Stellar Panel!

RockaRoo to the Rescue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby rocker to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. And I’m glad I was. Let me start by saying that I own the higher end 4moms rocker which I personally bought for myself. So it was awesome to be able to compare it side by side with this RockaRoo. The RockaRoo completely lives up to the 4moms brand in terms of quality and effectiveness. It does what a rocker needs to do. Its compact size fits in every area of my house without becoming a tripping hazard. And it’s lightweight enough that I can easily carry it by myself up and down stairs. It had the ability to keep my baby entertained long enough to give me hands-free moments throughout the day. I feel that most people have too high of expectations because they expect a rocker to keep their babies entertained for hours. Or to put and keep them asleep. However, this product is not meant for that reason. I found the best way to use it effectively is that I typically only let my baby stay in it for at most 10-15 minutes at a time so my baby has just enough time to be entertained but short enough that my baby knows I didn’t abandon him and start to get fussy. I also typically use the rocker to simply soothe my baby to give my body a break from having to rock my baby manually. Then after a few minutes, I take my baby out and rock him in my arms for another minute and then transfer him to his crib to allow him to doze off to sleep. This rocker has truly saved me to help me get a few intervals of hands-free help throughout the day which I am so grateful for. And I think that’s important for many to keep in mind… 15 minutes of hands-free moments to prepare dinner, 15 minutes to be able to shower, 15 minutes to fold laundry, 15 minutes to use the bathroom, 15 minutes to pump, 15 minutes to get in a workout, 15 minutes to meditate, 15 minutes to just sit by your baby and watch some TV, 15 minutes to rest your arms, etc… those 15 minute intervals may seem so minuscule in the short term but all of those 15 minute intervals throughout the day all add up to the biggest mental and physical health breaks that are necessary for anyone. It truly has made a difference for me and my household. I love this product and would definitely recommend it.

We have a swing from a different brand from when my daughter was a babe. Baby boy is not a fan, but loves the rockaroo. It’s so nice to have somewhere to put him when I need to get things done around the house

Awesome swing

I purchased this awesome product for my 10 week old grandson.He fell a sleep with in minutes of putting it together.After watching him rest so peacefully, any plans for an adult version? A cup holder and straw mechanism would be heaven.Just saying,wishing,dreaming!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Honestly it could be better

Pros:
The size is very compact and perfect for every room in the house.
The seat is very deep which means that it's super roomy and cozy for baby.
The connection cord is long.

Cons: The rocker is very close to the floor, which means that it's super inconvenient for C-section mamas like myself and any other mama's in general with back problems because you need to bend super close to the floor to put baby in and out of rocker.
The speed modes that it has are akward and in my case, when I push level one it starts at the highest level for some odd reason and then "configures" to level one after a few minutes.
The toys on the mobile are absolutely unnecessary because they literally do nothing, no movement, music, or anything. My 1 month old is not entertained by it at all, they are very pointless and the design and colors are boring.
The seat needs more cushion (it has none) I need to add a blanket on the bottom so my baby can be comfortable.
The rocker only rocks back and forth meaning that it needs to be a bit away from the wall, it doesn't rock side to side or anything
Final thoughts: This rocker needs a ton of rethinking. I am not fond of it honestly, it's rather boring and my baby doesn't like it. She cries in it most of the time and I get very annoyed that it goes from level 1 to the highest level randomly as if the sensors don't communicate well. It's very aesthetically pleasing but that's about the only good thing I can say about it, for the retail price and for everything it lacks, I am utterly disappointed. Had I not received this product from the Stellar Panel, I would have honestly already returned it to the store.

Baby loved rocking away

My little guy (2 months old) loved spending time in the rocker and it kept him very entertained allowing me to get some quick chores done. I also really liked the small footprint of the product - it doesn't take up nearly as much space as some competitive products. I also really like that we were able to move the arm with the toys so that we could get him to move his neck in different directions so we could avoid getting flat spots on the back of his head.
