Great Swing for Small Spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Review Panel. I wanted to love this product a little more than I did. I also have the MamaRoo so I was able to compare the two products. If you are able to, register or buy the MamaRoo.
What I liked about the RockaRoo:
- Very small and compact, very small footprint, which was great! I really loved how small it was. It can fit and be moved anywhere in my house easily.
- I really like the new activity ball mechanism. I love that it spins around and I really like the colors.
- I love the option of putting my daughter in it when I need to tend to my 2 1/2 year old son. It keeps her in a safe space and entertained with the new activity balls.

What I disliked about the RockaRoo:
- The material that was used for the seat is very slippery. My 2 month old daughter is in the 5% percentile for weight and height, so she is very small for her age and she kept sliding down even with the strap over her belly. She just looked uncomfortable in it.
- I'm still trying to decide if I like one way rocking motion. Like I said earlier I have the MamaRoo and my daughter loves all of the different motions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4moms RockaRoo has been a lifesaver. It’s extremely helpful to have something to place my baby in that keeps him calm and entertained for long periods. It gives me the ability to do things like cook dinner, get the older kids ready for bed, fold laundry, take a coffee break, clean the house, enjoy my husband’s delicious cocktails, write this review, and even make a painting for the nursery!
My favorite feature is the small size – the rocker is light (easy to move around) and compact (easy to find a spot for it just about anywhere), but still does a fantastic job soothing with the front to back glide! The design is very sleek and modern. The colors are not obnoxiously bright, and the fabric is removeable and machine washable. The mobile is in the perfect position and slides out for easy access to the seat.
The lowest glide speed seems a bit fast for a newborn, but I started using it when my son was about 2 weeks old, and he seemed very content. I purchased the 4moms newborn insert separately for more support. I would prefer if the AC adapter cord was a bit longer to give more flexibility for positioning.
Overall, my son really loves this rocker, and I would recommend it to any new parent. I would suggest also getting the newborn insert for babies younger than 2-3 months. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this rocker to test and review!
